Short term

Engage: 4 weeks Overseas summer teams to Africa and Asia

One to One: 6 weeks to 1 year Tailor-made for you. GAP year / Career break / Retired / Year abroad

Medium and long term

You can support Bible translation in one of many diverse roles. Use your existing experience or learn new skills:

Language-related work 2 years, or longer-term Four months of training in the UK, followed by a 2-year overseas internship supporting Bible translation through Language Survey, Linguistics, Literacy, Dictionary Making or Scripture Use.

Those working in Linguistics or Dictionary Making may take four months of further training to complete an MA:

  • MA in Field Linguistics: 3 years (including 2-year overseas internship) Work towards an MA whilst making a significant contribution to a language project overseas

Use your existing skills 1 year to a lifetime Use your life skills and experience to fill a crucial support role overseas: IT, teaching, administration, finance, flying, counselling... and more
