Wycliffe Bible Translators

Together we can!

The Worldwide Church working together

Group of visitors around an African Man's laptopThe task of translating the Bible for communities around the world is not something that can successfully be accomplished by working in isolation. Bible translation requires the expertise of many different organisations and the support of the Church, all working together in partnership in order to bring His message of love to nations.

Whilst Wycliffe works with many organisations around the world, churches in the UK also play a vital role in what we do by sponsoring a translation project or supporting a member working in the UK or overseas. These relationships may well begin with prayer and a financial gift, but often the partnership builds to something far more allowing Christians in the UK to share in the joy of people who hear God's word in their own language for the first time.

Wycliffe UK also encourage networks of individuals, such as our youth network WYnet (13-18yrs), and Connect (18-30yrs).
