Wycliffe UK Internship
Support Bible translation from the UK - 9 to 18 months
Bible translation involves a huge team of people with very diverse skills and experience. Some are involved directly in the language community, while others are supporting the work from a distance meeting a wide variety of crucial needs.
The Wycliffe UK Centre, set in 23 acres of outstanding Buckinghamshire countryside, is the home of Wycliffe UK and the European Training Programme and also provides a conference venue for churches, organisations and charities throughout the year.
Our internship offers you the chance to serve as part of the welcoming and enthusiastic Centre team for between 9 and 18 months, learning new skills whilst providing essential support to minority language Bible translation projects happening around the world.
As part of the Centre team you would provide hospitality and housekeeping services to hundreds of students, conference attendees, Wycliffe staff and international guests as they visit the Wycliffe Centre. There may also be the possibility of using your IT or admin skills in the Wycliffe offices.
Applicants must be citizens of the European Economic Area or Switzerland, or otherwise have permission to work in the UK. Details about practical arrangements and application process are included in the information sheet below.
If you would like to apply for the internship, please read the information sheet below and then fill out our online enquirer form and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
