Anna Bishop

Anna is passionate about encouraging and inspiring people to serve in the ministry of Bible translation.

Anna says: ‘Having the Bible is foundational to everything else in world mission.’ 

Anna started her journey with Wycliffe on a translation programme in Niger, West Africa. Her role is now caring for Wycliffe mission partners and mobilising people from the UK and Ireland to serve in Bible translation. 

Anna has also worked in church planting, as the minister for world mission at All Souls Church Langham Place, London, and as a policy maker in Whitehall. She has studied Theology, Missiology, French, Arabic, Human Resources, and Conflict Mediation. She is currently training as a spiritual director. Anna lives in Oxford.
