Acting Director for People and Culture

Simon Connolly

Simon Connolly is the Acting Director for People and Culture at Wycliffe and he is passionate about seeing people thrive as they serve God in the ministry of Bible translation.

Simon says: ‘Hebrews 6:19 – “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure” – is a verse that means so much to me, going back to when I became a Christian at Boys Brigade when I was a teenager. I would love for everyone to be able to read this verse in their language and to know the firm and secure hope we have in Jesus.’

Simon joined Wycliffe in 2021. Before that Simon has worked in several Human Resources roles for 17 years. He is also a trustee OMF UK.

Simon lives in Cheshire with his family and is an active member of a local church.
