‘We need to pray and thank God for all the men and women who give their lives to make sure that the Bible is translated, produced, disseminated, and understood. This is why I pray for, support, and thank God for the work of Wycliffe. I always love reading the updates and stories and seeing what God is up to.’
Jonathan, pastor of Cornerstone Church, Abergavenny
Would you like to join Jonathan and many others in Wales in praying for, supporting and being kept up to date with the work of Bible translation?
Wycliffe News Cymru contains the latest news and stories from Bible translation projects around the world, the ways churches and Christians from Wales have contributed to this work down the years, and stories from local churches and their current involvement with Wycliffe.
We have a community of over 20 people from Wales serving with Wycliffe; some are long-term members serving overseas, some are on the office staff, while others serve locally by raising awareness. We all need your prayers and support to carry on with this work! Use the Wycliffe News Cymru magazine to stay up to date with all the Wycliffe members who are supported by churches in Wales, and join in that support through prayer.
Being informed, praying for the work and supporting financially are themselves really significant ways to be involved. Whether that’s for those who are directly involved in translation projects, the communities we hope will be changed by God’s word, or people here in Wales who are working with Wycliffe.
So to find out about all that God is doing through Wycliffe in Wales and beyond, sign up!
‘I am especially moved in reading of the beautiful testimony given by Rimamsikwe Matthew in the Autumn 2020 edition. The courage of this devoted disciple to bravely lead an audio Bible study is inspirational, with a wonderful consequence!’
