13–15 September 2024

Venue: St Katharine’s Parmoor, near High Wycombe

Today, 1 in 5 people worldwide still do not have access to the Bible in their own language. Explore is an opportunity to see how your skills and experience could play a vital role in giving people access to the Scriptures.

The Explore weekend will help you learn more about the kind of roles and vocational pathways we offer at Wycliffe, and we’ll help you think through whether or not now is the right time for you to explore service with us and what that involves.

We will help you find out about the realities of life serving with Wycliffe – whatever the role and location – and introduce you to the journey into longer-term service with us. Whether you are gifted with linguistics and languages, fascinated by IT or have a passion for teaching, you can play an essential role in Bible translation.

Throughout the course there will be time to ask your questions and chat with staff from different fields about their experiences and stories.

This year Explore will be held at St Katharine’s Parmoor, near High Wycombe, starting on Friday 13 September at 7pm and finishing after lunch on Sunday 15 September. The cost of the weekend is £192 per person (£364 for a couple), which includes all accommodation (shared room for singles), meals and refreshments.

Please note: the deadline for registrations is Sunday 11 August 2024.
