Gillian Wright

Gillian is passionate about the role the Bible plays in how we follow Jesus in the world today.

Gillian says: ‘The Bible has played such a huge part in shaping how I seek to follow Jesus and to live out my faith in the world around me. It is so exciting to be part of bringing about a world where everyone can know Jesus through the Bible’

Before joining Wycliffe Gillian worked for Deloitte, the NHS, and then as the Head of Finance for Christian Aid Ireland, the Methodist Church in Ireland, and Northern Ireland Hospice. Today Gillian leads the financial and corporate services teams at Wycliffe, ensuring that the work of Bible translation is built on an efficient and effective foundation. 

Gillian is based in Belfast, has a Masters in Bible and Ministry in the Contemporary World, and is a member of a growing and vibrant city centre church.
