illumiNations events
The first European illumiNations event was held at Gleneagles in May 2022, followed by the Fairmont Windsor in May 2023. Both events were absolutely inspiring and have given us great confidence in recommending the next events – regional dinners in Edinburgh, Belfast and London in autumn 2024.
At illumiNations the key agencies working in Bible translation come together to celebrate all that God has done, and all that God will do, in and through Bible translation.
James Poole, Executive Director of Wycliffe Bible Translators, will be at the dinners, along with other agency directors. There will be an opportunity to make a financial pledge towards Bible translation, with a minimum expectation of a five-figure sum.
There is likely to be a waiting list this year, so we’ve been asked to make this clear to potential guests to ensure that those coming are intending to contribute to this vital cause.
What they have found in the USA is that a community of Bible-loving investors grows year on year, with the time when there could be some Scripture in all languages now in sight.
